Yep. And here's some more prospective points too. The birds are the easiest of the bunch. Sometimes they line up in such a way that one arrow could take out 2 or 3 at once.
I'm hoping that after I get the plots planted, that the deer will come a runnin. I know that there are plenty of hogs, and there are quite a few turkey out there. I have 2 spots picked out for food plots.
Here's a couple pics. The 2nd pic is of the new foodplot and the stand I've got waiting for me there. I'm hoping that because it's back in the woods more, that I'll have a better chance of seeing critters more during the daylight hours.
sweet set up
I hope so. The first picture is of the main food plot. It's only about 30 feet or so wide, but it's gotta be about 70 yds long. The other plot is only about about 50' x 100', but it looks to be in a perfect spot. I have high hopes for this stand. Might need to put in a mineral block. Definitely gonna move my game cam once the foodplot is planted. Should be able to see what's coming thru then.
I used to have several f/p on my area and found smaller ones "hidden" produced very well so the sizes you have look to be just right.
