YA got me there. I haven't hunted or shot a deer since 02. but didn't hunt at all 03-09. after getting that 1 hog I could really not care less for deer, IMO deer don't taste anywhere near as good and are harder to butcher.I have seen plenty of deer this year all in places deer hunting was not allowed or I promised to save them for the landowner. as for washing the game, I guess I just haven't acquired a taste for mud,vermin and feces, but to each his own.
