the seasons still young, don't count us out yet. Lacy should be taking her rifle off the mantle, blowing the dust off and running some points up soon. not to make excuses but a few of us have been injury plagued and or have had severe time limitations or access to any decent land or leases and I don't believe any of us run dogs. it's hard for a non dogger who may only get to hunt a couple of 4 hour shifts a month on wma's to compete with doggers that hunt all day 3-4 x a week, not complaining, just envious. it's not like were playing for money.
L.L. nice of you to take a break from whatever you've been up to, ( no good I'm sure) and post a little sumthin, don't worry, one of those knuckleheads will push something your way eventualy. thats what I'm counting on anyway while on public land.

Iv been in the stand countless times this season and nothing. The deer are being pushed into being nocturnal from all the hunting action going on. I have people hunting on almost every side of me. Starting to feel like I'm hunting public land. :wacko
get in that stand at 5 am and sit all day.. eat lunch in the sand.. guarantee you will see something.

Yep, good idea. We've been finding fresh tracks and seeing deer up and moving in the middle of the day( around the full moon). I've been slacking on hunting the past few days, the roe mullet are in the river and we've been snatching them. I'll be back to hunting tomorrow!
Hey great bait catching there!!
