I remember on 9/11 there were no yankees or rednecks. Just good Americans dying and standing up for each other after the attacks.

I don't like any yanks, except Greybeard! They are all the same alot of blahahahahaha! They like to - Paaaaark da caaaar biy da wader!

WHEW!!! Glad I'm an exception!
I'm not gonna get in on a debate that's none of my business. But since my name came in, I'd like to just let y'all know where I stand. I'll readily admit there was a day I had those misconceptions about 'good ol' boys'. But I had my head turned around back in the 70's when I met some folks from Alabama, Texas, both Carolinas, as well as Florida. They were loving, kind, gracious folks and 'learned' me a thing or two hundred!!! Jeff Foxworthy had me pegged when I moved to NH and found myself living in a mobile home with several cars ('cahs') in the yard (yahd) that weren't mobile. I even had me a 4X4 F150 pick-em up truck! I realized that even though I was from 'up theah', I was still a redneck at heart- 'specially when it came to loving this country!
I came into hunting later in life, so I quickly admit I'm a know-nuthin rookie. I might be OK back in MA & NH, but y'all have a whole different way of going about it. I am eager to learn and to shoulder my share of the load (even abuse at times).
Finally, I honestly want to thank you for being here when I had to go 'cold turkey' from hunting until I get my feet on the ground so I can get a Florida license and get out there and help some team's score (as well as get some meet in my freezer)!!!

Finally, 'there's more that unites us than divides us'! Don't let 'them' win by forfeit!!! In Lacy's words, "it's all good"!!!

Good post Graybeard.

I have a good friend originally from Wisconsin that currently lives here ( I know, wth?). He's new to deer doggin and hunting in Fl and has really taking to it. I've tried and helped him along his way. He's really changed my mind about judging anyone before I know them.

People are individuals and should be judged on an idividual basis without stereotypes. Although I know most of us like to joke around about it still!

You may have just heard the echo from my big AMEN!!!
May God grant that it always be so- that we band together and stand together whenever any part of this great land is threatened!!!
We abandoned our differences when Americans broke from Engalnd. I hope we will forevermore!

FDLXT and doghunter- and all of you: I simply spoke from my heart.
Thanks again!

You might give good ole fashioned moth balls a try. There is a product sold commercially called Snake-a-way, that retails for about $17/gallon jug. If you get moth balls it is the same exact ingredient and they only cost $3-4. They do work, give them a try. And Prayers for the dog on a speedy recovery

Thanks for the tip. My wife's aunt lives out in the woods and she swears by using them. They use to have a real problem with pygmy rattlers.
I will have a one yr supply of mothballs as soon as I get off work...

Get the crystals not the balls. It get under their scales.
