that's my biggest fear and why I don't let my Brittany's loose down here they think snakes are fun to play with for a while and then kill. what kind of snake was it diamondback or moccasin, did they give it anti-venom? hope she pulls thru.
It was a mocassin. I killed 3 mocassins there this summer and my dad saw another one just a few days ago. She's doing better and acting like she feels better.
This is the final straw, I'm moving my kennels and am going to make them as snakeproof as I can. My grandfather will be plowing a few firebreaks and I'm going to burn around the 2 nearby ponds and patrol with a loaded 12 gauge. This is BS I've got to deal with them biting my dogs in their pens.

Damn DH bit in their kennels, that sux, those sob's are nervy, not like they were cornered and protecting themselves. I'd say it's game on and go get every one on your place. good luck with that.
