Sorry guys....wasn't able to help out this weekend. I had deer all around me this weekend, but you are only allowed one deer per permit and I wanted my wife to take it. She saw a total of 12 deer but did not draw back on any of them in hopes of a nice buck coming along. When her nice buck came along, she got busted by a doe the buck was with!!
Pic of 4 or 5pt coming soon. What a weird afternoon, so I start off by missing a 5pt when 2 bucks walked in and started sparring. I got really caught up in it and just didn't take my time. They both bolted but the 5pt ended up following a doe back in here and I gave him a muzzy through his heart for his stupidity. Thank the lord for dumb, immature bucks to bowhunt...
The deer have really been moving with the cooler temps. I saw 15 yesterday afternoon and 17 so far this afternoon. I have 3 does on me now.

I have never seen such damage to a deer done with an arrow while crushing bone. It went through one full shoulder and some of the other exiting (I'm covering up the exit hole with the sign :oops ) and one was barely hanging on after the damage. The arrow almost made a complete pass through but was hung by the fletching until he hit a pine tree 10 yds away and them it fell out. His heart was ripped into pieces and it looked like the damage from a small caliber rifle. The deer made it nearly 30 yds before crashing. I like my crimson talon broadheads but ran out of them and shot this one with the muzzy 3 blade BH, and they really are "bad to the bone" :death
