Are the acorns dropping already up there? I need to seriously check when I go up the next 2 weekends
My oak trees are full of them right now and they should start dropping soon. Up around where we hunt they are a little later,more into Sept.
Opening day of bow season I had a couple trees that were raining acorns. Then by the 3rd weekend all of them were unloading. Of course last year was lite compared to the year before
We're getting a lot more rain this year,could be a banner acorn crop. I'm hoping that the deer will start cruising trhu my area again. I'm gonna be really disapointed if all I have coming by my stand are hogs.

I've scouted alot in the past two weeks and it's the only oak I've seen dropping up here yet. It's raining acorns in there. I wish we would get 8-10 inches of rain and cover half of the acorns up so the deer would have to move further to find them.
