I havent seen any discussions yet about the St. Vincent hunt coming up on 1/23/14. This will be my fourth year on the island. First year taking a bike. Im looking at getting further than I have in years past. Anybody thats been out on the east end have any advise on what roads are good/ not good for taking a bike on?
There's a group that went to the sanbar hunt that should be able to tell you how the roads are. I thought they wonder around here a little, but I guess not.

This will also be my 4th yr to the island. I've only been to the east side once to scout but missed that years trip. There are a couple guys on here that camp on that side. If I remember right the south road by the rangers house had a bit of sand on it but the road right out of the camp was good. On the west side all the roads are good. We went from camping on the island to bringing a camper to renting a cabin and this year we rented a house. Really look forward to this trip. Good luck!
Alright thanks guys. I'll keep checking. I'd take 5 miles of solid ground over a 1/4 mile fo sugar sand. Maybe I might try to get the party to camp on the west side this year. Good luck to you guys too.
Well there are some great roads . But there is also a lot of sand there it was hit or miss . We scouted it in June and it was wet season. December was cold and dry making it a whole different riding experience.
