getting back on topic. i believe if you are conscious of your scent and try to limit how much scent you are leaving in the woods, you will see more deer.
I spent some time out in Oregon and a week before hunting season the elk would come down out of the hills and head right to the farms. They knew they were safe there. The farmers would feed them when they feed their cows and would not let anyone hunt them.
What part of Mizzourah you form there ? My wife is from Missouri and I lived there for afew years. All game I've ever been around is spooky of human scent if they're not used to it, Bu I also have friends whos said hogs would walk right up to them when they filled feeders.
I am from a alittle town speed. 35 miles from Sedalia. The deer would drink out of the main pond by the house and grant it we did not allow hunting, nor did the neighbors which owned several thousand acres, to many cows mistaken for deer and the house got shot once, so when the deer got to plentiful, they would kill as many as possible is a couple of days and then have the annual eat out, party with family and friends.
10-4 spazz dog,my wife is from Warrenton.60 miles west of St.Louis. I am going hunting in Lucerne ,Mo,on the Iowa border,The guy sid he wants the deer dead,he don't care what I do with them,he just wants them gone. Sounds like my kinda hutin'.
