That's what I told him but he swears they were this years and didn't put in last year. I left his info at the office but will be checking it out today.

i dont think you can attempt the second draw if you where successful in the first. not 100% but i think they will take your permits away for trying....

:wacko I'm sorry, guys! I cannot figure this quota thing out!!!
'1st try', '2nd try'...

Can I- or can't I try to get some kind of (WMA) hunting in this year, or not?

I know y'all can't change anything, but man!, why can't they just issue licenses and let us hunt? This system is worse than the lottery!

I am really sure the second round was already posted before. It told me I was successful with Camp Blanding Still Area 2 for 11/24-11/29 :911

Hey, don't get me wrong, but the system is not that difficult to figure out.

You just need to read the general guidelines for each type of hunt before submitting the application. As an example, general gun. The main guidelines posted on the FWC general information section tells you that: “Restrictions: You may submit one Application Worksheet and receive up to one permit in Phase I or II. You may receive up to five permits total in Phase III (including any permits awarded in Phase I or II). You can only apply in Phase II if you have not already been awarded a permit during Phase I. You can have no more than one permit per hunt unit, and no more than five permits total. The selling or purchasing of any quota permit is prohibited".
http://myfwc.com/license/limited-entry-hunts/general-info/general-gun/

You didn’t mention what you applied for during phase 1 and didn’t get, or if you didn’t apply at all, therefore, I can’t give you a specific example on how to submit your application. Either way, you can apply for anything you were unsuccessful during phase 1 or anything you didn’t apply during phase 1 (by the way, phase 2 is already finished, so you have to wait for phase 3).

During phase 3 you can apply to wathever is left and get up to 5 permits for that type of hunt (i.e. 5 general gun permits) as long as they are not for the same hunt (i.e. 1 green swamp, 1 baird, etc., but you can't get 5 green swamp or 5 Baird if they are all the same days or same hunt number)

Hope this helps.
