I thought I'd put up a few photos of last years hunt up in NW Florida. It was around the first week in Dec and really cold. Enjoy.

This is our camp set up at the bottom of the cow pasture right outside the tree line. The blue golf cart is my in-laws but we use it the whole time we're there.

Here's a better shot of my van tent setup. It's good to sleep in the van :>)

My son-in-law Zac with his first kill

Here's a spike I shot on the last day

Me and my grandson. He loves to shoot, can't wait to get him in a tree stand.

My youngest son Daniel. Hopefully he'll bag a deer this season. We're heading up during doe season this time so he should have a good chance.

This is what I'm taking up this year. It's a gas EZ-GO with a 4" Jakes lift.
Now, just so everyone knows, I'm all about herd management and letting the bucks reach maturity for a nice rack. My in-laws grow corn and beans on their farm and the deer were tearing it up this past year. They wanted us to thin things out a bit. We took what was legal and left the rest alone. Personally I'd rather eat a doe but a spike is just as good :>) All in all, this was a great trip. Looking forward to this years hunt.
If your in-laws need any more help thinning out those pesky deer, let me know. I'm always willing to help out!
Nothing wrong with shooting a spike. Been hunting about 4-5 years and I haven't killed a buck yet. If a spike walks out in front of me (and it's legal in the WMA), he's gonna get it.
Looks like a great time, it just doesn't seem like hunting if I am not sitting around a camp fire and tents.
That tent setup on the back of the van is bad azz
