Well, since I joined the lease up in Mayo with Crock, I decided I better find me a "place of my own" to use up there during season. Crock offered to share his trailer that he'll be using, but I think he forgot how bad I snore and such. Poor old Skunk Ape found out about it when he let me crash at his trailer one night. He thought he had actual skunk apes in there with him!

Anyway, I found this little gem, and will be taking it to camp soon:

before my C-pap machine, I would literally rattle the windows in the next rooms and make hung ceilings and lamps vibrate, not to mention keep everyone else in the house or on a plane awake. if it is sleep apnea and not just snoring it can be very serious where oxygen saturation will drop into the 70%'s for me ( about 94-99 % is desired ) for long periods and you could have episodes where you stop breathing for up to 30 seconds or more ( until you wake up gasping for air ), and your heart will stop beating for periods of time. long term results are heart and brain damage from oxygen deprivation. if you have insurance I'd strongly recommend a GOOD SLEEP STUDY PERFORMED AT A HOSPITAL, it's amazing what they can find out, is painless and a C-pap or Bi-pap machine will stop snoring instantly and get you some quality sleep. signs/symptoms of sleep apnea are: waking up gasping for air, poor quality sleep, falling asleep at unwanted times ( like while driving ), in tree stands or while hunting, and never feeling completely well rested. it gets worse with age and wt. it is not a cure and you will need to sleep on your back preferred with a mask or plugs covering your nose. down side is they require electricity, that's why I camp in motels now or campgrounds only that have electric. you're wife/family will greatly appreciate it, as well as hunting buddies, don't know how mine ever put up with me.

Actually, this is just a set-up I found for sale on Craigslist. Thinking about going to check it out, but can't get the guy to call me back.
