I wanted to get a second opinion. The first picture is a close up of the area. The white line is the road, Red line is the boundary. I'm thinking of placing a stand where the yellow circle is at. The second picture is not zoomed in as far so you can get a lay of the surrounding land. What does everyone think?
Looks like a good edge to me. I am also intrigued by the clear cut on the right hand side. Cutovers can be incredible during the pre rut
I think I would maybe move a little closer to the property line to catch a few edges tying together. Looks like a little wet area running south to north about there. Also don't frown on the area where the same edge crosses the road. Check for tracks crossing the road. IL2H is right about that clear cut come late Nov also.
Looks like my spot you better check for ribbons.............LOL. Looks good I would put out a couple cameras to see what is moving thru there first.
Donny and I may be thinking of the same spot. I'm looking at the area that is the closest between the rd and the property line app 2" to the left of your circle with a darker narrow trail/water/depression running north/south. gotta take a look see and placing a camera a +, if it's not public land, unless it's one you don't mind getting stolen. swamp to the left/ woods to the right?
