thanks for all the repiles, now all I have to do is get my license. Oh and a kill. I am researching feild dressing online, I dont want to kill something and waste it because I didnt do what I needed to after the kill. So any tips will be great.
I am going to do some guided hog hunts after Gen gun season is over, at my lease in N. Fla. Not looking to get rich by any means, just want to make some corn money and lease fees back. There is a motel and a diner with a buffet within 10 min of my lease. Also, there is a meat processor within 10 min, or I can skin/quarter and put in your cooler for a minimal fee. Like I said, not looking to make money, just recoup some of my costs. My goal is to teach some folks a few things I have learned over the years, and maybe put some pork on your table. If you or anyone is interested let me know mid January. I am overrun with hogs right now. Matter of fact, Foley Land told our club pres that we need to reduce the ##'s quick or they are going to bring in trappers
Sounds like a FOHAF forum event if there ever was one. Get all us out there, half on each side of the property and work our way to the middle shootin as many hogs as we can until we see the other side. Of course, there will have to be a huge firepit, logs of bbq sauce, and liquid beverages of choice. π
I'd be all over hog hunting in January. I've done my share of Deer/Elk/Bear hunting up north, but havent had the pleasure of hog hunting yet.
Looking forward to more details.
I would definitely be interested in this! My problem is I gotta get a job! I have a couple prospects and may be working by January. Please keep info on this possible group activity current! I'll keep my eyes open!
