Ok I think I want to try my hand at hog hunting. I cant afford to get a lease or any thing ,but it seams WMA's are fairly inexpensive to hunt. Would anyone be willing to take a newbie out and show him the ropes? I only have a 12 gauge but I am pretty good with slugs. I also have a 4wheeler if that would help. Other than that I have nothing. I do know gun safety and I am trained in firearms so no worries about being in the woods with a firearm idiot. Also can someone give me a breakdown on what permits I need and how much that would cost? I know I can find it on the gov, web site but it all confusses me. thanks

This is the best way to learn about where you can hunt, also need to go to wma site and read about each wma that you may want to hunt, some are quota and some you can hunt with wma stamp. If you hunt wma you will need a hunting license and wma stamp. If you get lucky and find some private land you do not have to have a hunting license to hog hunt.

Good luck !
