This has been a tough bow season for me, opening evening my wife shoots a 5pt. She hits him good but the arrow didnt pass through. I looked hard was never able to find him that night. In the next few days she shoots at 3 more. Clean misses....
In the mean time I cant get a buck into range, Im seeing them but cant close the deal...
I decided to make a move on them and it paid off, at 6pm I heard the palmetos breaking 100 yrd or so in front of me. I thought for sure my luck was about to change.. But 5 min's later I knew I was hearing a bear. He just fed right on past me. 10 min's later I heard a deer blowing right in front of my ladder stand that ive been sitting in. I thought just my luck. I pulled a grunt tube out on hit it a few times. He came in fast and stopped in my only blind spot 25yrds from my tree. I just knew he was gonna hear my heart beating out of my chest, then to make matters worse my leg started shaking uncontrolably. As soon as he started moving again it all stopped, I drew and waited seconds later a RAGE hit its mark.....
