y'all do anything special in preperation prior to gun season?? other than checking your zero on your rifle. i always throw a scent wafer (pine) in my soft rifle case. my rifle will stay in there all season (unless i'm in the stand, lol) i have noticed that slings are often forgotten about when using scent eliminator. and they usually get sweaty and stinky.

i usually won't clean my rifle during season either. mine is stainless with a laminate stock. might only shoot 1/2 a box or so during season so i wait till after my last hunt to clean my gun.

i just zero mine in. and keep the barrel conditioned. mine is parkerized and will rust if you even spit on it.
Well don't spit on it. 😆
