I got opening day Archery at walk-in-Water, Opening Day Gun Green Swamp.
Will be hunting with primitive longbow, modern compound (Bear Showdown), M1 Garand 30-06, M1 Carbine .30, and 12 ga Mossberg 500, and quite possibly my .45 taurus Sidearm if Miss piggy gets pissy LOL.
Does SMALL small game get any points? Squirrel, rabbits, nutria (WTF is a Nutria btw), Dove, Ducks ????
I will be trying to get some of my friends together for a "Real" (as real as we can make it that is..) medieval hunt.
Using authentic primitive longbows, and arrows (with florida legal hunting tips of course) to try to take down some game this fall. We will be dressed in the same clothes and using the same equipment a person from say the 14th century western europe would have to hunt with. (Staying of course within the letter of the law regarding hunting here in Florida)
Which means we have to do this during archery season, to avoid the Blaze Orange requirements for Deer. And well I just dont want folks shooting at us during gun season LOL.
