Does anyone have any experience using those small rabbit tail decoys, and how far out from the stand to set them up? The coyotes I am seeing are coming out of a dry pond about 250 yards NE from my stand, which faces north. Trying to get them within 150-200 yards. They're obviously eyeing the calves in the field but if the decoy can convince one to head my way its a win.

you can also try a turkey feather tied to a piece of dental floss also. Just something for a visual for them

I used a rabbit call and a package of cheap hamburger. Used to use my T/C in .223 on them. inside of 100 yds.
