Ok so i walk to my feeder this morning and wonder why it never went off.. as it gets light i see that the motor to the feeder is on the ground (not the bucket just the motor). It was ripped apart. The screws and the plastic was still screwed to the bucket. So to me it looked like something swatted it, I mean smacked the hell out of it. But here are the facts.
There is no pics of bears on the cam, The motor was right below the bucket on the ground, there was no bear prints (it did rain). There was some scratch marks on the tree but they could of been there.
I got two cam pics. One of the feeder up and the one with the motor down. Now the question is.. In the second pic is that a BEAR or a HOG? If its a bear then the bear just got up that tree fast enough not to be on cam and stood up there (cause the cam cant get that high) and swatted it. But he didnt eat the corn!!!.. Hogs ate it later on the next day.. THis is weird.. look at the pics and tell me what you all think...
Now i zoomed into the (i think bear pic) and the way the legs flare and are bent it looks like a bear. And the nose is more like a dog nose if you zoom in. But that could be me. Yall tell me what you all think.
hard to tell but the head doesnt look like a hog at all :phear
Dam I didn't see the other pic if it got up there and tore your feeder motor off I'd say bear there is a delay on the cam but he'd still have to be pretty quick to not get him on camera.
heres two more of the maybee bear.?
That's 100% hog don't know about your feeder though.
well the way i see it.. if a hog had his front leg bent like the one in the pic his face would be in the ground.. Ima zoom in and you can see it better hold on.
