Have you ever tried to get a negative response from bears at a feeder?I am wondering if the use of some pure cap oil on the feeder pole would work! This is just a thought to give the bears a negative reaction when they try to get to your feeders.

Damm Frank, you spent more money on that feeder set-up, and salt blocks than you spent on your last weapon. Very nice feeder set-up! Impressive!

While spraying pepper spray in a bear's face has been shown to be effective, applying the oils or sprays to surfaces or as a fogger has proven almost useless. Bears have even been seen rubbing up against and licking the treated surfaces, or following the scent as they start associating it with food. Unless you can blast it directly into the eyes and nostrils of the bear at full strength, the stuff is basically useless.

gunboy, not reallly lol the ontime feeder was 100 the pole sheathing, winch, concrete, all the rest another 100. at the price of corn and feeders 200 to keep them out seemed cheap...they would do more damage and aggravation to me that the 200...lol
