Thanks Nacho for picking one up for me and all the advise after you got your put together. This will work great for my step son and I. If I had had some more coin I would have had you pick me up two or three more....
all said and done I probably spent more on upgrades than the original cost. changed all bolts to galvanized, used galv washers in addition to the cheap plastic ones that come with it, camo netting, vinyl coated wire cables, cable locks, cable tighteners, eye bolts, hinges for foot rest, sheet metal to sandwich between marine ply foot rest, great stuff foam, tree umbrella, black spray paint to break up solid green color. was able to move the bench seat out 1 1/2" for more seat depth,increased strength, wt capacity, thicker/better/more comfortable padded arm/shooting/back rests and life expectancy if left outdoors forever I'm sure. not sure how much wt I added but will probably need a come-along to get it up the tree in place alone. got a spot picked out that looks into a swamp in front and a pasture with my feeder to the right. sunrise/sunset won't be a problem. this ameristep brand the seat is wider than the others I've used and might actualy hold 2 normal sized people, or 2 with me as long as I'm pitching not catching.
