75$ now at waly-world, just paid 108$ 2 weeks ago. corn has gone up to 8.96$ for 40 lbs.
If you haven't used it return it and buy a new one for $75.
The 2-man ladders have pros and cons.
Pros: Lots of room for a single hunter. Plenty of room to place your hunting pack and easily access w/o much movement. Nice shooting rail to lay gun on to keep it out of your lap. Easy to attach a burlap or leafy material wrap around the rail and attach
Plenty of room for an adult and a kid
Cons:
Absolute back breaker. I have tried every cushion combo and cannot seem to get comfortable in it. I feel like I am always fidgeting and shifting my arse, or standing up. The problem is the seat platform is too narrow. I think after this season I will have my buddy weld an extension to the seat and jiggerrig some sort of a foot rest. I managed 5 hours in one of them this season and had to go to my chiropractor when I got home
I'm used to lock ons, so they are like an easy boy to me. but I always carry 2 small foam pads 1 for butt and 1 for back. a buddy that lets me use his has a hinged floor plate that sits at an app 45 degree angle as a foot rest. I can stay a good 5 hours. not looking forward to trying to set it up alone though. gonna be paying for it with aches and pains for a few weeks afterward. haven't opened it yet so think I will try and return it and get the discount, that will pay for the camo burlap at least.
Which wallyworld? I have been waiting to get one! The super wally in Gainesville doesn't have anything...and the guy looked at me like i was crazy for asking abt a tree stand.
