Okay. I'm totally lost now. I applied for the St. Marks Wakula Archery hunt, and it doesn't even show up as me even applying for it. And yet the $ came out of my account. What gives? And my gen gun and archery both show drawing pending.

They have not done the drawing yet. The application period is not over yet
Probably a stupid question but do we get preference points for the special opp permits if not chosen? I didn't really care if I got it but was just hoping to try another area.
That would be no. I have not been drawn in 3 years, and this year I got 3 so keep plugging away at it. Some think it is stupid. I on the other hand find the cost to be far less than a quality lease in this state, or 1 quality hunt out of state. I have been drawn before with just 1 application so do not lose hope.
