Maybe some one can answer a question. Our hunting club butts up to gulf hammock wma. during general gun/dog season what are the dates for the wma and if different, is their a problem retriving dogs out of the wma area for our club is not that big and a creek is all that divides it?
the WMA season dates for next year arent out yet i dont think. You will be able to see them soon when they make the new brochures for next year. As far as retrieving dogs off the WMA that might cross the creek, id say go for it, just leave the guns behind so there arent any questions (if the WMA is closed while your running your dogs)

I'd imagine the wma dates will be adjusted accordingly.Any time our dogs got where they weren't supposed to be we stashed our guns in the woods or left them in another truck before going after them.If they got on posted land we just waited for them most of the time.
The deer dogs, I don't see to much problem with, no guns in truck and riding around to pick them up, but our cur dogs, if baying a hog, now that could get sticky coz you have to go to them.
