We need to bring back transferable quota permits.
We as hunters should be allowed to trade back and forth with each other.....
Let's get this reversed and back to having them transferable.
If that happens then the permit horders and brokers will be right back. It sucks I can't give away a permit now but I'm happier that a guy I know don't get 2 out of the 5 doe tags,and more than one quota for a youth hunt.
Quota's are gonna be a thing of history in a couple years
Quotas suck but what are you going to do. People put infor them and have no intention of using them. If you put in for one take vacation and use them other wise don't apply. Put in for Quota then go one day opening then waste Quota by not going again. Or 150 Quotas then opening morning over 400 people in the WMA. Rest of the Quota less than 50 hunters per day what is that!
Non transferable permits is set to expire and go back to the way it was unless it is renewed in 2012. When the changed it a couple years ago it was designed to basically be a 4 year test. So speak up to FWC is you want it to go back. Numbers say that less people are hunting on quotas than before and most biologist for the state didn't want it to go non trans and will recommend it reverts back.
The lil cry babies are the ones that got it changed in the first place and they were out numbered if it wasn't for the central florida bowhunters association basically getting it changed by themselves.
