when bringing a guest to a wma quota hunt, do you have to do anything in advance, or just show up with the guest?

sorry to be a pest, but with the guest permit it has to be done in advance I take it, what about the hunter/guest, can that be left open to the last minute? not sure who is able/wants to go yet.

"Guest permits may not be changed once they are issued and are non-transferable. It is suggested that you wait to obtain your guest permit until just before your hunt".
