FWC is sneaking one by us on this one. I read their site just about every day, and consider myself to be up to speed on what is going on. Last year we applied for all the quota hunts at the same time(minus spec opportunity and turkey).
Apparently, they have separated the hog quota hunts out, and you apply for them starting April 1, 2010
I just happened to stumble on a link about it on another site. This would have gone by me and I would have been looking for them when we apply for all the other quotas in a couple months. To my knowledge, I do not recall reading anything that the application for hog qoutas would be different from the regular quota application period...Chuck, did I miss something???

I see why they did it now. There are some hunts that start in early August

saw that somewhere as well today also.. when do they open application period for gator hunts? i got a few places down in the everglades i cant wait to hunt
