Well I paused my deer season to whack some ducks . Opening day was alright . Got drawned and the numbers left were not the greatest . I managed to shot my 6 but lost 2 . I only had maybe 10 -12 ducks fly by . Water was really low and had to push the canoe , that wasn't fun . 
Now Sunday was AWESOME !!!!!!!! . I shot my first Drake Pintail . I also shot a mixed bag which consisted of hen shoveler , hen GWT, hen BWT, Drake Ringer and a Fulvuos . My son shot 3 ringers in the water + a decoy , my buddy also shot his limit . We hunted next to Chuck and Doug . Doug had his dog Jackson which was great cause he retrieved our ducks , and found my hen shoveler which had dropped in the cattails . Awesome job Doug with Jackson , quit teaching him to steal our ducks :grin . I also have some video from my guncam , just haven't had time to edit , might get a chance later . 
Nice bunch of ducks there.........I love to see your son having fun. I had six pins in the lake behind the house this am.
