On Saturday I'm going to wade up Turkey Creek On Eglin. It is ankle to knee deep most of the way and crystal clear. If I don't see anything it will still be fun!

We use to float down the Aucilla and Wacissa Rivers and jump shoot the woodies. Similar tactic so it might work

I've always had the best luck just findin a very remote area of a wooded creek/swamp that has some larger areas of standing water. If you can, get back there late in the afternoon, and wait for em to come in for the night. Don't shoot then, cus you'll have better luck when the light off in the mornin, cus they usually come in just before dark, kinda staggered, but they all seem to leave about the same time.

You also don't want to shoot them while roosting because it's illegal :pinch
