Why raise them if you can't sell them. Vet checks are over 50.00 now for a puppy and it is a law they need that to sell in Fl.
I DONT RAISE THEM TO SELL, I BRED A FEW GYPS FOR MYSELF. IVE GOT A FEW PUPS LEFT OVER AND THOUGHT ID SHARE.
IF I WAS WANTING TO SELL PUPS I WOULD PUT A BIG PRICE ON THEM AND LIST THEM IN THE PAPER....
Not trying to bust your balls,sorry. My last litter of Plotts I couldn't give away,I spent a lot on raising them. I've raised them in the past and sold them for good money,now I need at least 150.00 each to break even. The 3 I kept are outstanding and glad I kept them,but I think I would have been better off buying a couple finished dogs for 500.00 each. Trust me,my big dogs eat a lot more than them beagles do. I have a friend who runs beagles,he may be interested and he lives in Ocala.
LOL, I WISH I COULD SELL PUPS, I HAVE A BUDDY THAT MAKES A EXTRA 5000 A YR SELLING SHOW BEAGLES, I CANT HARDLY GIVE THEM AWAY, AND THERE IS TO MUCH HASSLE SELLING THEM AS PETS WITH ALL THE LAWS. AT 25$ IM LOSING MONEY FOR SURE, JUST HOPING TO RECUPE SOMETHING. IF SOMEONE WANTS ONE AND CANT AFFORD THAT, I WILL GIVE IT TO THEM.
