What are you prepared to do to combat it? You think it will end with fox pens or is this just the beginning? What's next, another attack on deer dogs? No more hoggin' and doggin'? Maybe they'll fight to stop fenced hunting ranches?

Whether you run fox dogs or not, you WILL be effected by a win for the anti's. It may take them awhile to get to a part of the hunting sport you love, but they'll get there. Divided we fall, ya know?

I think that women and children are the salvation of our sport. If you don't start inviting folks out for their first hunt and instilling a love of the outdoors and a rspect for our heritage; you may see the end of it in your lifetime.

For those of you who already do; congratulations, thank you, and step it up a notch. To those who haven't...get busy and start inviting them out. Even if it's only for a summertime hog or an afternoon squirrel hunt this fall. Once they get a taste of the outdoors and an appreciation for those of us that love it, how do you think they'll vote when our heritage is on the ballot?

I dont care what they say.. I will allways be there with my friends to hear that sweet song of the dogs and stick all day long. BOTTOM LINE. Thats a southern tradition. And they will never change it.

I don't think it's all the PETA folks that are doing the complaining. As with all things, there are a few bad apples that give the rest of the decent folk a bad rep. I've hunted with dog hunters and around dog hunters and haven't had problems for the most part. But, I have been hunting on private property fenced with hog wire and had dogs from the neighboring property run right past my stand. Normally not a problem until I find the big gaping holes in the fence that were intentionally cut to let the dogs in. Why? Because we had food plots and feeders in the middle of 1200 acres along with swamps and it held the deer.

To start infringing on a sport (no matter the type), because of some liberal bunch of idiots is complete BS. Them that follow the rules and abide by the laws shouldn't have to lose out just because somebody else doesn't like it, because it DOES NOT infringe on any of their tree hugging, rabid critter lovin rights.

That's a lot like still hunters crossing over onto posted land and hunting when they know they shouldn't,it's wrong but it still happens.Fox pens are just places to run hounds in the off season for the most part but I think the FWC has some anti-dog hunters sitting on the board. They need to be rooted out and replaced.
