We went hunting at Mallory this weekend with some friends. Sat morning first thing, I went to walk in the block with Joey and the dogs. I always wear a backpack with eveything in it, even the camera and it wasn't 100 feet in and we were wading in water about mid calf to me, I am only 5 foot tall and I fell in a hole and got wet up to my butt:rofl:, so I did not carry the camera anymore but I got a few shots.
The first picture is Sunday when we caught a boar hog. This did not look to wet, in fact it is the area were we caught a hog, but looks are deceiving, coz I could hear the bay but their is a wall of gall berries and ty ty and about 2 to 3 foot of water and of coarse that is were the hog bayed up. I walked around a good ways and by then the bay was all over and joeys' cd done a awesome job.

Look behind Joey and Terry and notice the water.

This is a picture of someone trying to keep dry but look close and see the water up past the waders:rofl:

I want to say that Sat, the dogs and us got quite a work out. We jump some hogs in one block and ran them quite a ways, I was in the truck and ask some guys if they had seen or heard our dogs and they said yea, they were running a BIG hog and described our dogs and sure enough we seen the hog track and they eventually lost it in the water. seemed to be a pig day, for it happened again.
:banginghe
The best part of the day was when Joey cooked some exquisite venision.

Here are some pictures of the dogs who may not of caught alot of hog in a day and half, but they hunted hard, swam alot and I am sure their feet are and muscles are just as sore as mine and they went everytime we turned out.

All in all, had a good weekend, great company, and a good time coz anyday in the woods hog hunting is better than staying home.
