Been so busy with the house projects and finally got a day to build my dog kennels.
When i got the slab poured for my steel bldg. i told them to do it 5' bigger so i could put kennels out on the remaining slab.
Now the dogs got 10'x5' kennels.
I used to keep them in cages in the garage while we were at work and that drove them crazy. Now they can walk round a bit then go in the doghouse when they are tired!

Nice set up! That will be there for a long time.
One of our neighbors has a wad of Beagles in raised pens, they bark when he leaves for work, when he gets home and when he rides around his place on his atv. They aggravate me, but they don't seem to bother the deer when I'm sitting in the shooting house. It must be a noise that they are used to hearing.
When I was a little boy, long ago, my uncle rigged up a sprayer for a man that lived in town, who owned a bunch of bird dogs. He had a permanent spray nozzle aimed at each pen and these nozzles were fed through a line that was controlled by a solenoid from an old washing machine. The old guy would holler at the dogs, then flip a switch, the water sprayed, the dogs quit barking. It took a day or so but the dogs got the idea and if he wasn't home to holler at them, any one in the house could flip the switch and get the same results. That was in Orlando in the mid 50's, I guess you probably can't even have hunting dogs in Orlando nowadays.
