If you want some more vets to call and don't mind the driver to Okee, I can give you a couple of guys that are probably the best but cheapest around, they are country vets. Let me put it to you this way, Hog dog small cut into the body cavity lung collapsed with infection, three days in the vets office---$3000 on the coast. In okeechobee, hog dog layed in the back of the truck with guts hanging out infection with collapsed lung, one week in vets office $600. They will do you right in Okee.
That sounds like Dr. Chet. A guy that worked for me had an old dog with tumors Springhill vet major surgery well over 1000.00. Dr.Chet cut the growths and explained about spending money on a 12 year old dog may not be worth it and the dogs still alive today and he only paid a few hundred.
He's a cattle and equine vet. Good people,I brought a cut up dog to him once and he's the one who told me not to stitch them up.Just keep em' in the pen and clean the wound till they heal,works great.
My dogs always get their hide ripped up,nothing to major yet. They always pull out the staples so I just quit stitching them up. They heal up fine,but I don't normally use any catch dogs.
I noticed my little girl britany cassie is not at the table begging so right away know something is wrong. the atb's are starting to work on her tooth abcess, but she must have aggravated/re-injured one of her torn cruciate ligaments trying to run and keep up with her brother, cuz shes not bearing wt on her right rear leg, damm she was doing so well getting up on the bed every morning and sitting on my chest to show me who's the boss, not even 10 yrs old yet. I'm a wreck over a dog can't imagine how you parents deal with problems with kids.
