Went out to about 75' and fished for about an hour. Nothing but small reds and one 21 inch Gag caught on a jig. Moved into about 70 feet of water and the Red Grouper turned on about 11:00.
Caught our limit of eight red grouper to about 27" by about 1300 hours and then we get a visit from a Cobia. Offered her a pinfish on a spinning rod and had fun for the next 26 minutes. She went about 33lbs.
My son Jake took his shirt off and got burnt bad. You fig after 19 years he would learn to listen to his old man but nooooo he knows best.
