Well, Dad loked for about 2 weeks and couldn't find what he wanted, so he went ahead and got his motor fixed! My brother is down with his family for spring break/Easter so we're going to go out tomorrow and try to catch some fish!
My brother, I think I have mentioned before, is one of the luckiest fisherman I've seen. He caught a 12 pound permit one time while everyone else was catching Key West grunts, using the same bait and equipment. We'll see if living in Virginia for a few years has broken his luck. My son is going with us, too, so maybe he'll catch another hogfish.
If anything worthwhile is caught, I'll try to get some pics and post them.
GoodOyster you mentioned Plant City we lived there back in the 70's my dad worked at a fertilizer plant around there.I would love to go back but heck I can barely remmeber what it looked like.I do have memories of fishing a small canal near a Holiday Inn if I got it correct.
I was in plant city yesterday i seen maybe 30 nice houses the rest of it was trash.
some parts of plant city are nice. some strawberry farmers have some sweet houses out there. some dumps sprinkled around them. not a BAD area, just diverse.
I guess every place has its good and bad.
