When we went out last time one of his motors wouldn't accelerate, like the linkage wasn't working. He has an older pair of 200 Evinrude Ocean Runners, and it getting to where he's doing more maintenance than they are worth. So he's looking again at bigger boats, something around 30-36ft. He almost bought a Luhr's 32 footer last year with newly rebuilt twin Cats, but decided to wait. He was over in Ft Lauderdale the last couple of days overseeing some painting on my stepmom's house, and was going to check out a few boats while there. I think he'll bite the bullet this time and get what he wants. He's finally retired at age 70 (71 in May) and has worked his azz off all his life, and deserves to enjoy the fruits of his labor, even if he spends my inheritance to do it! 😆
If he does get something and we get a chance to go out, I'll see if I can't wrangle you a trip with us.
