Have not been there sience i was a kid so 30 years or more. Swim in the spring it has 4 boils there fresh and salt water fish in there. Clear sping water bass fishing and blue crabs at least a long time ago.
Probably been 31 years or more for me as well, think the last time I was there I was about 15. But we loved the place, camped there several times in an RV. Caught the biggest warmouth perch I ever caught from the little boat canal using a mole cricket! We also went gigging mullet at night in the run between the springs and Lake George, and my uncle gigged a huge mudfish. He'll never live that one down, thought it was the biggest mullet he'd ever seen! If it's anything like it used to be, it is one of the best places to camp.
