There was about 12 of them I stalked up on after hearing them squealing for 20 min's I got down and headed after them. The first shot was right behind his shoulder quartering towards me and he ran off. I looked at my arrow and it was covered in crap. So I thought I gut shot him ( it was a good shot) So I decided to give chase since it was open scrub for 100's of yards. He wouldn't give me a side shot so after following him for about 300 yards I decided to go for the Texas heart shot :rockon: And the arrow went right threw the boys and split him. That put the breaks on him fast. He turned and I let the third one fly and he dropped in his tracks(the arrow sticking out of him still) I think you can see the shots better in tis pic.
Also shot a buck this evening. The shot was a little far back (liver I think) He ran off and bedded down. It pored rain again and after 45 min's I decided to go look for him. He spotted me and jumped up and ran a good 150 yards. :nono: So I backed out to let him lay. SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna go look for him in the AM. I saw over 20 deer today from my stand. What a rainy crappy opening weekend. I think there was only 14 deer shot.
He was a four point. Nothing like the 8 point I shot at this morning and missed :die: Pissed I made a bad shot on him, ruined my day.
