It almost looks like the cam hit something as it was being dry fired. All bows can and will break if thier dry fired I dont care what is advertised. I have had years of service from my Mathews with out a problem. The best bow is a personal choice. I had a split limb jenneings shater just drawing it back ( not dry fired) I could have said all jennings were crap and sent it back but I traded it out for a new one and killed a truck load of animals with it.I have heard all of you bash Mathews and some of you have never owned one. Like it or not Mathews has raised the bar for all the bow companies and that has been great for the sport.

Well I did own a Mathews, and I was far from impressed with it. Here is my issue with them. Every time you turn on a tv or open an outdoor magazine, everything is Mathews Mathews Mathews...If you don't own a Mathews you are using inferior products. Mathews is shoved down our throats as the best bows on the market. Sure they set the standard, about 15 years ago. As of today there are many bows that are better built and much cheaper priced than mathews.Elite Archery is a prime example. I still cannot get used to that big clunky grip that they use. Never felt comfortable to me. Was never impressed with the strings they use. I shot one 50 times and the ATA changed 1/8". A shop owner up here that a lot of us use refuses to sell them

The best bow is a personal choice
Couldnt say it better myself. I shoot a Martin. Mathews is still a good product, just my opinion there are better out there

believe what you want, Once upon a time this may have been true, but over the last decade theyve been so far behind the only way to stay alive was nd is to pump the airwaves with lies and raise prices to apeal to people who areeasily fooled by the notion that if its expensiv its the best. truth is all your paying for is a name
