Thanks for the luck wishing and for the first time this year I'm going to take someone hunting on the first time on opening day rather than going hunting alone. This is an Army buddy that went to Iraq with me and has been wanting to go with me. We'll be on the same food plot, him in a ground blind next to the feeder and I'll be on the other side of this 1 acre food plot. If all goes well I'll get to watch a close friend get his first kill with a crossbow. I'm sure that their are people that might be against taking someone that has never killed game before, but everyone has a first kill sometime. It reminds me of the first time that I killed my first deer with a bow. I was showing my dad a good spot that I was thinking about putting a stand up. and on the way in had a small buck walk across the trail in front of us and I had the time to get ready and take the shot. My dad was standing behind me, that was one of the best kills ever. Never to be forgotten. Now it is that time again, for me to watch someone else make their first kill.

Good luck everyone. I am running behind worst than ever and don't even have 1 of my stands in the spots I need it and I haven't shot my bow but once so far. Oh well it's like riding a bicycle, you never forget how to do it.
