Sitting in the stand Friday afternoon. I looked at my xbow and saw what I thought was a spiderweb on the limb. I reached up to wipe it off and realized its a limb starting to crack. This explains why I have had a hard time keeping it zeroed. Figured I would wait it out and see if anything showed up,as I had to shoot it anyway to un-cock it. About 30 minutes before dark I looked back at it and the crack had grown. I decided to get down while I still had all my appendages. Held my breath when I shot it. Glad I decided to take my bow also
Will be making a road trip to Tarpon Springs tomorrow
Dam I'm glad it didn't come apart before hand.
I have an issue with my Xbow as well... For as long as I have had it, every time that I cock it with a cocking rope a little piece of plastic will drop down in front of the safety and prevent you from being able to take it off of safety. It pulls the safety to far back and will make it where the safety will not move to the fire position. It happens sometimes if i'm not careful when using the crank cocker. I have been caught in a bine a couple of times when I needed to shoot and this thing wouldn't let me take it off safety. Or you get up in the tree and have nothing to stick in there to push this thing up except a knife... I'm not big on sticking a knife down around a string that has 175lbs. tention on it. I know that all it would take is a day trip to Barnett but dang it man. I just neet to tighten up a little and go.
:saluting
I need to go after to get restrung and tunned up
Well what's the damage ?
