I just bought a pack or 2 blade blood runner broadheads for my Brooksville spot. Anyone ever try them? These are some fierce looking blades, over 2" cutting diameter. I need something to put a deer down quick in a residential area and I'm hoping this is it.All my shots will be 15 yards or less and I really need these deer to drop so I'm not blood trailing in anyones backyard.

you betcha little buddy. I started thinking I needed something that would flat out bleed something out quick. I started after a fixed broadhead but after seeing these I had to get them. They are freakin' evil looking.Everyone there recomended what they used but I just couldn't walk away without trying these. http://www.cabelas.com/link-12/product/0079984419397a.shtml

Should work if you have enough KE to punch them on threw! I switched to rages this past year and sure wished I hadn't couldn't get penetration with Switchback XT. Went back to my Innerloc 5blade for this year. I was up your way yesterday. Went scouting Chass for next Saturday and as usual they have been in Burning and brush hogging the whole year I guess. Talked to the man and he said lots of Turkey but no hogs for some reasone and keep eye out for the Palmeteo berry thiefs and call if anyone sees them. Lots of palmeteo berries this year and the acorns loaded and falling.
