Well, my first time stalking in the dark with my bow, I took the shot he offered. He was the only one standing out of the shadows of the big oak tree, so he got it up the who-ha. Over here we refer to it as a Texas hear shot. I have to say it worked perfect. Its the shortest distance any animal has ever traveled that I have shot with my bow. I hope to have more to share with yall as the season goes on. Im keeping my bow in the truck at all times to take advantage of spot and stalk opportunities. It appears we do not have a shortage of hogs this year at the ranch.
seen it done to deer, above the tail into the lower spine/hips and it's not goin anywhere and will bleed out pretty quick, just gotta put up with a lot of lip from the other guys in camp that didn't get anything. just may have to change your handle to the azzman. it's still 1 more than I ever got with a bow and I hear they are extremely hard to put down instanly with a bow.

Thanks guys. I was pretty jacked up. Only one other guy in camp bow hunts so the others didnt really get how big a deal that shot was for me. I was pumped when we walked a little ways and found him piled up.
