I've been shooting on a daily basis using 3 field tips and one broadhead out to 30 yards. Well a few days ago I switched to only my broadheads and noticed after 30 yards they drop off much faster then my field tips. I had to drop my 40,50,and 60 yard pins considerably. Due to drag I guess. Well it's spot on now shooting 2" groups out too 60 yards. :rock_on So to sum this up, better check now before it's to late! Good luck and happy hunting to all. :toast

jmo but 60 yds is twice as far as you should be shooting at game unless you just want to trail/lose and cripple. unless you are another Byron fergusson and have a bow that shoots 600fps. not enough speed///retained energy at that distance IMO. how are you going to get a clear shot at that kind of range anyway? thats further than 95% of my gun shots.

I disagree. At 60 yards my bow will blow threw any deer around here. And unless the shot conditions were perfect I wouldn't let one fly anyhow. As for getting a clear shot you obviously haven't hunted in south Florida pine lands before. From my stand I'm overlooking a 200+ yard flag pond. :archer

still think thats a mighty long bow shot, but if you say so? I know you've killed alot of game so I'll take your word that you can do it. I won't attempt anything close to that. whats the longest bow shot you've made and recovered the deer for curiosity? plus I'm talking more about hog than skinny deer. I'm guessing there alot harder to put down with a bow than a deer. never had a chance at one before with a bow.
