LOL I'm not rich by any means. And I have been hunting with my PSE for 3 seasons now. I figure i sell my 4-wheeler and If i don't buy a new bow with the money it will go to bills fast and be gone. So a bow sounds more fun then bills. I'll be keeping this bow for a while so I want some thing nice. I spend allot of time hunting so I deserve it. 😆
I would like to shoot an elite bow but their are so few dealers around. Does the guy you know have bows that I could try like a store? Or can he just order them?

Hes got them I almost got a Fire from him last year, I may be going to see him about a cuda in May

Why, do you have that short of a draw?

Here is my take on Mathews:
They spend more money on advertising than any other company. Probably more than all other mfrs combined. Turn on a hunting show and YOU WILL SEE a Mathews commercial. Mathews is shoved down our throats as the best bow ever made. The problem is that there are better bows at a much better price than Mathews. Elite is one example. They spend little to no money on advert an a re a better product.

A lot of dealers who care about what they sell will not sell them (Eric at log cabin for example)
One problem I have is their grip. It is way too wide.It is like holding a 2x6 in your hand
Also they have major string issues and have never fixed it to my knowledge. Eric showed me a bow that had 200 arrows thru it and the nock point had moved 5" from string stretch

dang the Elite gt500 has an IBO of 346 at 70# but it can be turned up to #90 I wonder just how fast that thing shoots? And the brace hight is still 7 1/8" I will definitely have to shoot one of these.
