Am i the only one who cant wait for opening day bow hunting?
Im camping at cedar key for at least that weekend... maybee the week depending on work. IF anyone wants to go let me know.. we can split the campsite.

I usually take like Mon/Tue off for the opener. That gives me Friday afternoon for a final quick scout, then a 4 day hunt.
I usually skip the second weekend, then hunt the 3rd-4th and 5th weekends. Usually the third and 4th week the bucks are starting to cruise hard and get a little stupid.
The third and 4th weekend is when I called in all those deer last season. They were starting to get a little jiggy.
Unless there is a tragedy at home, I hunt my azz off the final weekend of bow. They are really starting to chase then. And the weekend after that is my favorite 3 days of the year......MUZZLELOADER :rockon:
I'm going to have the same pronlem this huntting season as last. when you all are out in the woods I'll be working. 😥
I've been ready!!! I went and checked my feeder today and nothing has touched the corn in weeks??? Not even the coons or squirrels, it's all over the ground???
So I set the bag of corn down in the middle of the trail and climbed up in my stand. I wasn't there for a min. when i hear something crashing threw the woods. A little 4 point buck runs under my feeder smells the corn and runs down the trail towards me. He stopped at the bag of corn smelt it and kept on going to my truck. Then walked right around my truck. I was standing in my stand acting like i had my bow :thumbs up: I could have busted his little :ahole: at 10 yards. Ohh and he was shedding his velvet, just about all gone. Cant wait!!!! he was acting like he was in rut, strange.
