just wait 3 -5 days and start looking again in the area for the stink and or buzzards and crows. deer wont be any good of course but at least you will still find you rack. i had to do that once my self, and the friggen deer was just 20 yards past where we quit lookin!

Yea man I made a gut shot on that doe, not very happy about that cuz i been practicin like crazy with my bow but it is what is...also it took me a good hour or so to find her, she was qautering to me which i heard was a difficult shot i guess.. i found only a very small amount of blood and I had to go on where i heard her run which was in palmettos and she ran further then i thought, but I wasnt about to give up searchin...but i guess sometimes you can only search so much till ya have to quit
