my son and i went to the woods last sat. he spooked a doe and a buck on the way in to where he was going to hunt, and i went to my spot,we got to the woods just as it was getting light because my son overslept, well we sat all day and didn't see anything,he had to work sun. so i went to a management area close to home, hooked my climber up to the same tree i shot my 6pt. out of last bow season, saw a hen turkey but she saw me move to grab my bow and off she went, around 1:30 a doe steps out i let the arrow fly and missed, she walks off not knowing what just happened,i can see my arrow stuck in the dirt,a half hour later another doe comes out from the opposite side and is coming toward me but i have no good shot angle,as she gets below my stand i let the arrow fly and hit her in the spine, she drops right there, sorry no pics, went back fri. and yesterday but didn't see anything, will be heading back to the woods next weekend :archer

Congrats on the doe. Can you take hen turkeys during fall turkey seasons?

That's cool. That's one of the most confusing things about Florida hunting regs, figuring out what parts of the general hunting regs do and do not apply to WMAs. So it seems to me that if I wanted to kill a turkey hen, I'd have to look through all the various WMA brochures and see which ones allow it.

Maybe they have it and I couldn't find it, but what would be nice is an online chart showing each game species and where/when you could hunt them, bag limits, etc. Kind of a quick reference chart like they do with fishing regs.
